Thomas Chippendale    1709 (?) - 1779

Believed to be the most famous of English born cabinet makers. He worked in mahogany and relied on carving for his decorative effects. Created and made many wonderful and prized pieces.

FEATURES: "THINCAST" where marked by an * denotes sand cast backplate, bail, posts and nuts, as all originals were. These are the finest quality, the most authentic reproductions available. Other "C" pull and escutcheon plates are cut from sheet brass that is made to order for us. It corresponds to the texture and thickness of an average original from our collection. The edges of all plates are hand filed and all are finished to our exacting standards.

FINISH: "Golden Glow," (polished bright), or Antique, (aged) finish furnished as desired - state preference.

ESCUTCHEONS: (abbreviated ESC.) Escutcheons for "C" pulls are the same as the pull backplate. Esc. price is $.50 each less than the pull listed price. To order, list the pull pattern number and state ESC. NOTE: If a SMALLER size ESC. is to be used than the pulls, please list OVERALL plate size desired (ALSO PLATE SIZE NUMBER) to avoid costly returns.

ESCUTCHEON PULLS: Complete pulls WITH keyholes, are available at the PULL price listed. LIST PULL NUMBER, AND STATE ESC. PULL.

DELIVERY: "C" patterns marked * as cast pulls will require at least 4 to 6 weeks. Patterns that are cut from sheet brass, will USUALLY be on hand for delivery in a few days. All sizes for patterns C-1, C-4, or C-8, pulls and esc. will normally be stocked for immediate delivery at all times.
