Victorian Hinges
The hinges illustrated here
although serving the same function as the many others in this catalog, do not
relate to any period other than 1840 to 1900. To aid restorers, we offer to
copy your originals at reasonable prices, if we may retain the pattern for our
use.
The materials used for these include cast iron, bronze, red brass
(darker than bronze), brass, and a new alloy (white bronze) that resembles nickel
plating but can be reworked and re-polished to restore the surface finish, without
re-plating.
All hinges are sold in pairs unless stated otherwise.

of this period contrast greatly with the curved lines of the 1800's. This
lift off hinge is an exact copy of an original having the finials as an integral
